6 books that can inspire you in big ways.

As a creative business owner, I have found that books are a fantastic way for me to guide my creativity, sharpen by business sense, and have me be intentional about self care, both physical, spiritual, and mentally.

These are five of the books that I can't recommend enough.

The images of each book are linked to their amazon listing, and the title links to each author's website. I personally own either the audio version, the physical version, or in most cases both. They are THAT good.

Untamed by Glennon Doyle

A powerful book about being a woman in today's society, and finding the freedom to embrace and unleash who you truly are.

The Calling by Rha Goddess

I am currently still working though this book myself, rereading each chapter multiple times because there is so much goodness to glean out of every single one.

Playing Big by Tara Mohr

Another great book on understanding how women got to the place we are today, and practical ways how to the overcome obstacles we ourselves, and society puts on us to stay small.

Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert

Really fun and practical book on understanding where our creative ideas come from and how to either engage them or let them go. Plus it's really interesting to read the journey behind the creation of Eat Pray Love.

Maybe You Should Talk to Someone by Lori Gottlieb

Super easy to read, but also very powerful book about a therapist, her journey to her profession, her journey to and through her own therapy, and the journeys of a few of her clients. Incredibly insightful and a must read.

Profit First by Mike Michalowicz

100% anyone who owns a business and cares about having a healthy income vs. expenses ratio will want to read this book. Hands down. I implemented his structure into my business and it's changing everything for the better. I have never before felt so confident about the money flow within my business.

That's it for my book recommendations! Try to support your local book store when buying.

Many of these books came to me as book club assignments in the Big Boss Community that I am in. My last recommendation is joining me there. There are free and paid levels, depending on how involved you want to be. I am a paid member, and it's been worth every single penny.

Speaking of joining me, are you on goodreads? If so- let's connect! If not, look into it- it's been my very favorite way to know what I have read, find what I want to read, and keep track of what I am currently reading.

Have you read any of these books, or have more recommendations? Share in the comments.

xoxo
